High Priestesses of the Tobilung tribe rest at midday at Tadau Kaamatan, an annual rice harvest festival in the state of Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. Sketched on site during the story gathering process of ‘Hidden Figures’ as featured in Plates, Vol.1: Rice.
This is a high quality digital print of the artworks: ‘Bobolian’ by Dee May Tan (2018) / Watercolour and ink on paper. The original artwork consists of two separate sketches, sketched on site at the Harvest Festival. The two watercolour sketches have been digitally merged and printed on FSC-certified and acid-free Takeo art paper.
