Jesselton Point Waterfront
Situated north of the downtown Kota Kinabalu, the Jesselton Point waterfront is the city's main ferry terminal for popular tourist routes to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park which consists of islands like Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi and Sulug, and also to Gaya Island, on which 5-stars resorts are located. it is one of the best places in Kota Kinabalu to watch the breathtaking sunset. During the colonial era, it was a wharf for trading between North Borneo and the West. The old train tracks are visible along the jetty today.
